Germany added 640 MW of photovoltaic installed capacity in August. In the first eight months of this year, a total of 4.8 GW of new photovoltaic installed capacity was added, compared with only 3.6 GW in the same period last year, 5.26 GW for the whole of last year, and only 4.9 GW for the whole of 2020.
According to "Global Photovoltaic" statistics, the newly installed photovoltaic capacity in Germany in the first half of this year was 3.217GW, so Germany added 1.583GW in July and August, which is equivalent to nearly half of the first half of the year.
